                            JUDICIAL SUPERVISION OF CORRUPTION CASES
AFFECTS DECISION MAKING PROCESS IN THE
                            GOVERNMENT SAYS MR.ARUN JAITLEY.

              While delivering 16th D.P.Kohli Annual Lecture,Mr.Arun Jaitley,Union
Finance Minister & eminent lawyer said, the decision making process in
the government is hampered by judicial supervision of corruption cases
which puts pressure on investigators to make a case. This creates fear
among officials that even a genuine error in decisions may come under
scrutiny. He said that the bureaucrats are now " Passing the Parcel"
rather than taking decisions themselves. The bureaucrats wants to play
safe to ensure that they donot  want to be questioned later even for any
genuine decisions taken by them while in service. The government must
boost confidence among the bureaucracy to ensure that they take decisions
without fear or favour or else the functioning of the government will come
              to stand still.
BAN ON VEHICLES WHICH ARE 15 YEARS OLD.

The government is thinking of banning vehicles which are more
than 15 years old in case of petrol vehicles(both Two wheelers
& Four wheelers) & 10 year old diesel vehicles to cut the
pollution levels in the metros to start with. But this move will affect Public
and movement of essential services. The Ministry of Road transport &
Highways said, that most countries adopt fitness tests, including emission
checks of vehicles as criterion for curbing pollution and NOT the age
of the vehicle. This may appear to be prudent way of curbing pollution
instead of blanket ban on vehicles.

SWITZERLAND IS THE MOST HAPPIEST COUNTRY.

Switzerland has the most happiest people in the world, according to
Annual World Happiness Report.Iceland,Denmark,Norway & Canada
followed in the rankings that measured happiness and well being levels
            in 158 countries.

It is reported that this report gives evidence on how to achieve societal
well being. It is not by money alone but by fairness, honesty, trust
and good health. If fairness, honesty are two of the four main yard sticks
for assessment, one wonders how Switzerland can fit in when their banks
hold secret accounts of citizens  of many countries and they donot even
disclose it to the countries when they ask for the details of the accounts
their citizens hold in Swiss banks.USA was able to get the names but
India is still to get the names inspite of lot of efforts successive
          governments has put in.

RAHUL GANDHI TO VISIT HOLY
KEDARNATH SHRINE BY FOOT.

Rahul Gandhi,Vice President
of the Congress Party will trek
the 21 Km route by foot to the
shrine and attend the temple's
Kapat (portals)opening ceremony.
Ms.Ambika Soni AICC General secretary
in charge of Uttarakhand & state Congress President,Kishore
Upadhyay will accompany Rahul to the shrine.
This visit to the temple may  assume political  significance as the Congress party is working out new strategy to counter BJP after its drubbing in the Lok Sabha elections.
The majority of Congressmen started believing that the Congress party's aggressive
pro minority's  stance has proved counter productive. Further, A.K.Antony senior
congressman openly suggested that proximity to minority communities had led
people to doubt its secular credentials.

Mr.Shyson Thomas(Third from left),Mg.Director Pegasus addressing media.
BANGALORE'S DECOR
AVIATION TO LAUNCH AIR PEGASUS..

Initial operations from Bengaluru to Hubli and
Trivandrum.

Ticketing starts from 4th April and operations from 12th April,2015.

Air Pegasus will start operations by flying ATR 72 500 with 66 seats.Initially, they will start with 2 aircrafts ATR 72 500 and will increase the fleet to 20 aircrafts by next year. The initial arifare will be Rs.1234/- ( all inclusive) which is a dynamic fare as an introductory offer.

Mr.Shyson Thomas,Managing Director, Air Pegasus says,the following:
" I see a lot of vaccum in the aviation scene in the southern sector".
" I will give seamless connectivity to the south".
" We have chosen ATR 72 500 due to its low maintenance cost & because it is fuel efficient".
"Air Pegasus will be a RIGHT COST AIRLINE".
" We aim to be truly regional airline with more connectivity in existing regions
which are underserved and to connect non connected sectors".
"The services will be scaled up to connect Kochi,Chennai,Tuticorin,Belgaum,Rajahmundry
Pondicherry & Madurai."

As this is a purely regional airline using hitherto not used small airports, the
government should give some concessions in landing charges, and also Tax on ATF.
When Andhra Pradesh can charge only 4% Tax on ATF,there is no logic for Karnataka
to charge 29%  as we gather from the company sources. As connectivity is very
important for people to travel ,it is the duty of the government to encourage and give
some concessions as far as possible to promote the regional airlines.
