MARUTI ERTIGA

MARUTI SUZUKI UNVEILS INDIA'S FIRST LIFE UTILITY VEHICLE-LUV-ERTIGA.
Small Outside-Big inside.
Launch of ERTIGA (which means Three rows in Indonesian language) by Maruti Suzuki strengthens the product portfolio of the market leader and also creates an all new Life Utility Segment at an attractive price point. Maruti Suzuki does not have any car in this  Multi purpose Utility (MPV) segment. With an attractive price tag ranging from Rs.6.12 lacs to Rs.7.55 lacs in Petrol cars and Rs.7.55 lacs to Rs.8.72 lacs in diesel cars(ex-showroom-Bangalore),this car poses a challenge to current leaders Toyota's Innova(starting price Rs.9.14 lacs) and M&M's Xylo(starting price Rs.7.34 lacs)
MPV's account for 10% of the total passenger car market and ERTIGA coming from the Maruti stable will definitely carve a niche for itself and may drive Maruti's growth.

  1. The largest car maker of the country is planning on reducing the indirect import cost by 5-10 percent in order to reduce the risk involved in the variation of foreign exchange rates. In FY 2011-12, because of the strong yen weak Rupee against it, Maruti Suzuki had to shell out Rs. 280 crore for the vendors as compensation.I have some updates for car lovers of India.
Maruti Suzuki India has rolled out its much awaited MPV Maruti Ertiga in six variant on 12th April. Maruti Ertiga price ranges from Rs. 5.89 lakh to Rs. 8.45 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
