KAMAZ VECTRA LAUNCH THEIR FIRST TRUCK MODEL IN INDIA.

The Indo Russian Joint venture announced by India's vectra group and the Russian KAMAZ Inc. has launched the KAMAZ 6540 tipper model an 8x4 dump truck in India. The joint venture is shared by KAMAZ (51%) and Vectra group(49%).The total manufacturing capacity is 9000 trucks and presently, they propose to manufacture 1500 trucks. Presently, they will be importing as CKD from KAMAZ,Russia and they will be increasing the indigenisation of components to 30 to 40% by next year.

KAMAZ 6540 GVW 31 T Model is ideal for use in construction of roads,bridges,irrigation canals and infrastructure projects that demand continuous and tough duty cycles.

H.E.The Prime Minister of Tatarstan Republic, along with the Russian Ambassador to India, Mr.Ravi Rishi ,Chairman VECTRA group,Mr.Ahat Urmanov, Dy.Chairman of Management Group,KAMAZ Inc. Mr.V.RS.Natarajan ,Chairman of BEML,A leading Public Sector organisation were also present on the occassion.
